Expanding hotel market in Budapest leads to record price drop as competition heats up
It’s official, according to The Daily Telegraph Budapest is now the cheapest European city to get a room in a Hotel. In most parts of Europe prices have been falling but Budapest scored the best with prices dropping a massive 13 per cent. On average a hotel room should cost around £60 (90€) a night in Budapest compared to the most expensive, Geneva, where the average price is a whopping £112 per night! Globally speaking, New York is on top where a night in the Big Apple will usually set you back around £160.
