In a move that echoes that of Ryanair and stepping up to the mark against full-service operators like BA, Easyjet have announced a limited online check-in service for all flights departing Britain. The service will eventually be rolled out to all it’s European destinations by the end of April. Passengers with hand baggage only will be able to bypass queues at the check-in desk and will need to be at the departure gate just 15 minutes before departure. The service is for check-in only and seat allocation is still on a ‘first grab’ basis.
