Are Zirconia Based Crowns Biocompatible?
Some people are sensitive to the metal alloys used in traditional porcelain fused to metal crowns and so Zirconia based crowns are the perfect choice. In tests conducted recently by the makers of Branemark dental implants, they found that there was less build up of plaque on Zirconia than on titanium, the biocompatible material used for dental implants, and considerably more so than on actual teeth. This means an even longer life is guaranteed for any restoration incorporating Zirconia.

I was so conscious of the state of my teeth. Having this treatment has changed my life.
...I was overwhelmed by the professionalism from everyone at the Implant Centre and also the technicians, and how dedicated they were to get everything done in such a short time. Everyone was absolutely fantastic
