Dental ImplantsDuring the last 30 years the use of dental implants has changed dentistry beyond recognition. Implants are no longer considered experimental and it is equally rare to come across situations where they cannot be used at all.
Almost all dental implants in use today are made from titanium or titanium alloy, materials that have been shown over many years to be well tolerated by bone. The terms ‘osseointegrated implants’ or ‘endosseous implants’ are widely used to describe dental implants that can develop and maintain a close union with bone in order to support replacement teeth. There are many different implant systems available and when competently used they can all deliver a highly reliable form of treatment.

We use the following dental implant systems:

AB Dental Implants

Camlog Dental Implants

Camlog dental implants are the most widely used dental implant by our top clinic in Budapest. They offer nearly all of the versitility of Branemark dental implants but at a price closer to the AB dental implant system.

With the Camlog Implant System, virtually identical results can be acheived as can be with Branemark dental implants though Branemark leads the field in terms of implant coating and structure which enable immediate function, extra long-lasting and extremely durable results. This however is more than adequetly compensated for in the sizeable savings that can be made – over 30%. And quality is still guaranteed with a 5 year warranty.

Branemark Dental Implants
With innovations such as TiUnite implant coating, Teeth-in-a-day, CAD/CAM dentistry plus the most adaptable of all implant ranges, Branemark is the undisputed world leader in implant technology.

Branemark offers a complete solutions package of crown, bridge and implants. Branemark have the important temporary solutions to cover all implants and everything needed for permanent Beautiful Teeth Now™.

You can choose from Branemark’s standard prosthetic assortment with products in all necessary configurations. Or the infinitely customized options available with Branemark’s Premium solutions.

Such a premium system does of course come at a price, close to 30% more than Camlog dental implants and 40% more than AB dental implants, but for peace of mind, with a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee, and the ultimate aesthetic result, they can’t be surpassed.

If you are aware of bad breath, loose teeth, or have noticed excessive bleeding, particularly when your teeth are cleaned professionally, you may have gum problems. Periodontal (gum) disease is a major cause of bone loss and with reduced bone, dental implant treatment can be more complicated.

How many teeth can be supported by dental implants?

What else can be done with dental implants?

How long does dental implant treatment take?

For routine cases, from the time of dental implant placement to the time of placing the first teeth, treatment times can vary between 3 – 12 months. The availability of better bone can be used to decrease treatment time, whilst more time and care must be taken with poorer bone, which …

Bruxism and dental lmplants

Patients who have a habit of clenching or grinding (bruxing) their teeth may be at risk of overloading their dental implants. For most people bruxism occurs during sleep, which is why they are generally not aware of it. Heavily worn or flattened teeth, chipped enamel edges and/or regularly breaking pieces of …
